Magnet Installation

If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when the
following steps are being performed.

Tools needed:

Style 2A ESD tweezers (Blunt Tip)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Orient the inner base cover so that its interior surface
is towards you and locate the features on the inner
base cover that make up the magnet cavity.

Obtain a magnet and orient it so that its rounded
corner is aligned to the rounded corner of the magnet
cavity.

Insert the magnet in the magnet cavity and press on
the magnet so that it seats all the way down in its
cavity.

•

Perform section 3.2.4 the Flip Reassembly procedure.

•

Perform sections 2.2.2 - 2.2.4 the Base Reassembly procedure.
