Communications
The RJ45 port(s), indicated by the
symbol, is designed for Ethernet LAN, whereas the
RJ45 ports at the opposite end of the unit supports M-Bus communications.
Ethernet Communication Port
Each unit contains 10/100base T port for Ethernet communications via a standard RJ45 type
connector. Connection to an Ethernet hub/switch requires a Category 5 RJ45-to-RJ45 cable
assembly. When connecting to the Ethernet hub/switch, a ‘straight-through’ cable is used.
