6 Cleaning and maintenance
• Wipe off powder coated surfaces with soft, moist rag. Do not clean heater with cleaners
that are combustible or corrosive.
• Remove debris from the burner to keep it clean and safe for use.
• Cover the burner unit with the optional protective cover when the heater is not in use.
To turn off the heater:
1. Turn the control knob to
PILOT
position.
2. Press and turn the control knob to
OFF
position.
3. Completely turn off the valve on the gas supply cylinder.
Storage:
• Always close the gas valve of the gas cylinder after use or in case of any malfunction.
• Remove the pressure controller and the hose.
• Check the leak-tightnessand for any damge of the gas valve. If you suspect any damage,
have it changed by your gas dealer.
• Never store a liquid gas cylinder in a sub-terrainian area or at places without sufficient air
ventilation.
