13 Troubleshooting
As soon as a fault is detected, the following button appearstop right on the start
page:

Press the warning triangle to see the message(s). In the following table you see
all messages that can appear.
Message Action
Inverter communication error ►
Immediately contact service.
Server unreachable. Check internet
connection There is no Internet link. Possible remedy:
►
Check the Internet link with other devices (e.g. access possible from a PC?).
►
Check the cabling of the household network.
►
Restart the Internet router of the household network.
If the fault is still present:
►
Contact service.
Modbus error A Modbus fault is indicated for a transmission problem.
►
Acknowledge receipt of the fault by the Reset button.
If the Modbus fault is still indicated shortly after pressing Reset there is a sustained transmission
problem.

Contact service.
If a Modbus fault repeatedly appears:
►
Immediately contact service.
Check battery module communication
cables and addresses

Contact service. Follow instructions in section7.4.2 (pg. 67).
Check DC cabling of battery modules ►
Contact service. Follow instructions in section7.4.2 (pg. 67).
Check battery modules addresses ►
Contact service. Follow instructions in section 7.4.1(pg. 66).
Unsupported number of battery modules ►
Contact service. Follow instructions in section 7.4.3 (pg. 67).
Mains fault This message appears if there is no connection between the storage system and the public grid. It
is displayed as long as there is no connection, disappearing as soon as the public grid again delivers
energy. The storage system then automatically starts operating again. The Grid down message also
appears if connection to the public grid is interrupted for other reasons.

Make sure the back-up fuse of the storage system is turned on.
►
Make sure the connecting cable of the storage system is properly connected.
