Managing Your Phone

Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC) Settings

To enable coupling with a hearing aid device operating in telecoil/microphone mode, select

Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Hearing aid > ON

. Once HAC is enabled, the HAC

symbol is displayed in the indicator bar. Select

OFF

to disable this feature.

Note : While using the mobile phone for voice calls with hearing aid, slightly adjust the position

of the phone against the ear to reduce the interference and to give better voice quality.

Data Charge Alert Settings

To enable airtime charge alerts during Web browsing, select

Menu > Settings > Phone

settings > Data charge alert > Enable

Disable

to disable this alert.

Data Guard Alert

To enable data guard alert, select

Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Data guard alert >

Enable

. Select

Disable

to disable this alert. This alerts the user when any application or feature

requires Internet data access.

GPS Switch Settings

To activate GPS navigation switch, select

Menu > Settings > Phone settings > GPS switch >

To deactivate GPS navigation switch, select

Menu > Settings > Phone settings > GPS switch

Bluetooth Settings

You can use Bluetooth to transfer data to any other Bluetooth enabled device. For more

Security Settings

To prevent unauthorized use of your phone, you can enable the following security settings.
