Intercom Calls with IFB
If a channel buon is not pressed within 3 seconds of the last listen buon
press, the listen funcon is cancelled.
Reviewing Channel Assignments
The current channel assignments and the connecon status for each
assignment can be monitored via the web server or the front panel OLED
display. To use the web server, see the
web page on
page 26 for details. To see the informaon on the OLED display, ensure the
main screen is shown and then briefly press the navigaon centre buon.
Fig 6-4: Channel Assignments Screen
The screen shows the status for each channel in a scrollable list. Use the
navigaon up and down buons or the navigaon rotary control to scroll
through the list. Each entry shows the target intercom or AoIP stream name
assigned to the respecve channel. If the target is currently available on the
network then the source name is highlighted, otherwise it is lowlighted. If a
channel has no target assigned, the display shows - . Channels with the
connecon type set to the local analogue audio input-output will show
“AUDIO I/O 3”. To exit this screen, press either the navigaon le or centre
buons. The display will then return to the main screen.
Call Functions
The following table shows the corresponding call funcons between the
calling and receiving unit. The default channel buon colours for the call
type is also shown.
Table 6-1: Call Funcons
The Talk Forced Listen call works differently to the standard talk/listen
funcons. When this type of call is iniated, the call starts as a listen only
call. The callers channel buon is illuminated using the colour assigned to
listen buons, with a brief flash using the colour assigned to talk buons.
The channel buon on the receiving unit is illuminated to indicate a talk
call. The calling unit can then repeatedly press the channel buon to enable
and disable talk. When talk is enabled, the channel buon illuminates using
the colour assigned to talk buons, with a brief flash using the colour
assigned to listen buons. The channel buon on the receiving unit is
illuminated to indicate a talk & listen call when the callers talk is enabled.
The receiving unit can end the call by pressing the channel buon as per
other call funcons. The calling unit ends the call by briefly holding the
channel buon unl the illuminaon has turned off.
