Setting the ducking function
① Turn the DUCKING knob.
• The parameter is shown on the display.
• The adjustment range is 0–127.
• This affects the LINE IN and bass in response to
the notes of KICK1 and KICK2.
Turning the effect on/off
① Press (lights red).
• ON or OFF will appear on the display.
• Press this again to turn it off (it becomes unlit).
Setting the effect type
① While pressing , press .
② Turn the VALUE knob to select the effect.
• The effect type name is shown on the display.
• 13 types of effects can be chosen.
1. Chorus (CHRS on display)
2. Flanger (FLNG on display)
3. Send delay (S.DLY on display)
4. Insert delay (I.DLY on display)
5. Crush (CRSH on display)
6. HALL
7. ROOM
8. Mono reverb (M.RVB on display)

• Effects include insert and send types. When insert
effects are OFF, they are disabled and the sound is
output directly. Otherwise, signals are sent to insert
effects at 0 dB and not output directly.

Setting the BPM mode
① While pressing , press SYSTEM , and select
BPM.
• The BPM will be shown on the display.
② Turn the VALUE knob to select the mode.
• The mode is shown on the display.
• Two modes can be chosen.
1. PATTERN (PTN on display): The BPM set with
the pattern is used.
2. GLOBAL (GLBL on display): The global BPM is
used.
Setting a pre-count
① While pressing , press METRO , and select
PR.CT.
• PR.CT will appear on the display.
② Turn the VALUE knob to change the pre-count.
• The count number is shown on the display.
• The setting options are OFF and 1–8.
Automatically advancing steps during
step recording (auto step mode)
① While pressing , press SYSTEM , and select
A.STP.
• A.STP will appear on the display.
