Description
This format is sometimes called the TSS HHPR2 format. It is a proprietary data
string that contains 27 characters in four data fields.
Status flag
The status flag can include any of the following characters:
H
—Heading aided, settled condition.
h
—Heading aided, settling.
F
—Fully aided, settled condition.
f
—Fully aided, settling.
When Radian transmits the TSS2 data format, the status flag will always by
F
.
Notes
All angular measurements are in hundredths of a degree.
Motion measurements contained in the data string are in real time, valid for
the instant when Radian begins to transmit the string. The measurements
include ASCII-coded decimal values.
The data string has the ability to include heave measurements in the range –
99.99 to +99.99 metres. However, Radian does not output heave and this
data field will always contain zeros.
Roll and pitch measurements are in the range –99.99° to +99.00°.
Positive roll is port side up, starboard down.
Positive pitch is bow up, stern down.
