FEATURE OVERVIEW
M 92X is a universal multimeter with a 3.5-digit LCD display. It is ideal for hobby purposes as well as for use in production facilities and
laboratories. The instrument has 8 functions and 25 measurement ranges; you can choose the desired one quickly using the dial.
FEATURES
• measures voltage (1000 V DC, 750V AC) • measures current (20 A DC, 20 A AC) • measures resistance (20 M
Ω
) • tests diodes • tests
transistors with hFE/beta test • acoustic broken circuit signal • automatic display of polarity • indicates out-of-range input • shows battery status
• high sensitivity (100 mV - 0.1 mA) • automatically reverts to zero • full overload protection

MEASURInG Dc VOlTAGE
1. Connect the black measuring cord to the COM socket and the red cord to the V
Ω
mA socket.
2. Turn the dial to the desired V= value, and the instrument is ready to take measurements. If the value of the voltage to be measured is unknown always select
the largest value using the dial first, and decrease the range as required.
3. You can now connect the cords to the circuit to be measured.
4. Connect the power to the circuit to be measured, and the display will show the measured DC voltage. If you connected the measuring cords inversely, a minus
sign indicating negative polarity appears on the left.

MEASURInG Ac VOlTAGE
1. Connect the black measuring cord to the COM socket and the red cord to the V
Ω
mA socket.
2. Turn the dial to the desired V= value, and the instrument is ready to take measurements. If the value of the AC voltage to be measured is unknown always
select the largest value using the turn switch first, and decrease the range as required.
3. You can now connect the cords to the circuit to be measured.
4. Power up the circuit to be measured, and you can read the measured AC voltage from the display.

1. Connect the black measuring cord to the COM socket and the red cord to the V
Ω
mA socket.
2. If the value of the DC current to be measured is unknown, set the turn switch to 10 A DC and connect the red measuring cord to the “A”
socket. (You must do the same if the current to be measured is between 200 mA and 200 A.)
3. Now connect the instrument to the circuit (which is still switched off) in serial connection.
4. Power up the circuit to be measured, and the display will show the measured DC current. If you connected the measuring cords
inversely, a minus sign indicating negative polarity appears.
5. Once you have made sure that the current to be measured is below 200 mA, you can plug the red cord into the socket labeled
V
Ω
mA after disconnecting the power from the measured circuit. Then select the mA range using the dial. If you need to
change the selected function or measurement range while taking measurements, only do so after disconnecting the
measuring cords out of precaution.
