A short description of screen options follows:
Resources
Controlled By
Choose Manual (default) or Auto.
The BIOS checks the IRQ/DMA
channel number on the ISA and PCI
card manually if chose Manual and
the IRQ/DMA channel number will
be checked automatically if choose
Auto.
Reset
Configuration Data
Choose Enabled or Disabled
(default). Disabled means to retain
PnP configuration data in BIOS and
Enabled means to reset PnP
configuration data in BIOS.
IRQ-x assigned to
DMA-x assigned to
Legacy ISA: Manually assigns
IRQ/DMA to device.
PCI/ISA PnP: BIOS assigns
IRQ/DMA to device automatically.
PCI IRQ Actived
By
Choose Edge or Level (default).
Most PCI trigger signals are Level.
PCI IDE IRQ Map
To
Select PCI-AUTO (default), ISA, or
assign a PCI SLOT number
(depending on which slot the PCI
IDE is inserted). If PCI-AUTO does
not work, then assign an individual
PCI SLOT number.
