TIPS FOR PERFECT BLENDING
•
Should the volume be under the MAX marking during operation, the measur-
ing cap in the lid can be removed so that oil or other liquids can be added.
•
The blender should only be used until foods or mixing program are ready and
form the perfect final product. Do not blend foods longer than necessary!
•
Use the PULSE|ICE CRUSH button if the foods are too thick or coarse to prop-
erly circulate in the blender jug.
•
You can use the included plastic spatula or the tamper during use if you remove
the measuring cap in the lid and handle the utensils through the opening. Always
make sure that the main lid is properly fastened to the blender jug.
•
Never exceed the MAX marking when filling the blender jug with foods and liq-
uids.
•
Foods might stick to the side of the jug. To push the foods back towards the
blades during use with the main lid secured to the jug, you can remove the mea-
suring cap and push the foods from the jug wall towards the blades with the
included plastic spatula.
•
Should you notice any moisture or liquid on the upper part of the motor base,
switch the appliance off with the ON|OFF button immediately and pull the power
plug. Remove the blender jug and immediately dry the motor base with a dry
cloth or paper towel.
•
You can stop the blending process at any time and during a running program
by pressing the START|CANCEL button.
•
You can correct resp. adjust the speed or program setting while blending. Sim-
ply turn the speed control dial or press a different program button and the high-
speed blender will immediately switch to that new program resp. new speed.
•
Your high-speed blender can crush a maximum of 250 g of ice cubes, this cor-
responds to a standard ice cube container.
•
After the high-speed blender has been blending in manual mode for 6 minutes,
it will automatically switch off. This is a security mechanism to prevent motor
overload.
•
Thick mixtures will be mashed up more efficiently if the blender jug is only quar-
ter- or half-full.
•
Never use metal kitchen utensils or tools, they might damage or scratch the
blades and the blender jug.
•
Dates and other dry fruit might vary in hardness and moisture. If you wish to
process dry fruit for smoothies, use the tamper in the first 15 – 20 seconds of
the SMOOTHIE or GREEN SMOOTHIE setting.
