Chapter 4: Connecting the AC and the Strings
to the Connection Unit
This chapter describes how to:
Connect the Connection Unit to the AC grid, and to the PV strings.
If required connect additional grounding, for example for installations in locations
requiring earth rod.

To connect the AC grid and grounding to the Connection Unit:
1. Turn OFF the AC circuit breaker.
2. Open the Connection Unit cover: Release the four Allen screws and carefully move
the cover horizontally before lowering it.
CAUTION!
When removing the cover, make sure not to damage internal components.
SolarEdge will not be held responsible for any components damaged as a
result of incautious cover removal.
3. Strip the required length of the external and internal cables insulation.

4. Open the AC cable gland and insert the cable through the AC gland.
