IMPORTANT
• Please read these instructions before using the steam cleaner. Keep them safe for future reference.
• Check that the voltage in your home is the same as that stated on the specifications plate.
• Check that the plug socket is equipped with a suitable ground connection.
• Check that the steam cleaner’s water tank is completely empty.
• Fill the tank at most with one measure of the accompanying beaker. Do not use such chemical products
as alcohol, eau de cologne, detergent and so on, as you may damage the appliance seriously.
• Do not use the appliance without water in the tank . If it stops producing steam, this means that the tank
is empty. Unplug it and check that the “Comfortsafety” system full indicator is not red (7). Then fill the
tank , close the lid of the “Comfortsafety” system (6) and plug it back into the mains.
• Warning: Always unplug the appliance from the mains before refilling the tank and check that the “Com-
fortsafety” system full indicator (7) is not red before filling the tank .
• Always check that the surfaces, objects and fabrics to be treated are resistant to or compatible with high-
temperature steam. We recommend checking the manufacturer’s instructions and carrying out a test on
a hidden area or a sample.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces while using the appliance.
• If you use the flexible pipe (14) or the extension pipes (16), point the initial flow from the steam cleaner
into a container in order to get rid of steam that might have condensed in the pipes.
• Do not tilt the steam cleaner at more than 45
o
from the vertical during use, as boiling water could come
out with the steam.
• Never point the steam jet at persons, animals or at appliances containing electrical parts (for instance,
the inside of ovens).
• The accessories heat up during use. Leave the accessories to cool down before changing them while
using the appliance.
• Warning: Make sure the locked steam function is not activated before removing any accessories.
• Never stand the steam cleaner and its cord near hot surfaces.
• Only use the measuring beaker to fill the water tank .
• Do not use the appliance when its cord or plug is damaged. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a technical service authorised by Solac, since special tools are required.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Never handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
• This product is designed for home use, not for industrial use.
IMPORTANT: When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish. Instead,
go to your closest CLEAN POINT or waste collection centre for subsequent treatment. In this way,
you will be contributing to looking after the environment.
