SSL & TLS
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security
(TLS) are encryption protocols that secure Internet
transmissions of important/sensitive information such
as credit card numbers and corporate secrets, providing
protection against online threats (eavesdropping,
falsification, impersonation, etc.).
SSL/TLS Caution
When opening a secured page, users must decide as their
responsibility whether or not to open the page with use of
SSL/TLS. SoftBank Corp. and the Certification Authorities
Symantec Website Security G.K. and Cybertrust make no
guarantees whatsoever to users regarding security of SSL/
TLS.
Using Browser Menu
Access the Internet, check connection history and downloaded
data, and make settings from Browser Menu. Browser Menu
contains the following items.

Show set homepage. Set to Yahoo! JAPAN
by default.
Bookmarks Access webpages from bookmarks.
URL input/
Web search Enter URL or search terms to access
webpages.
History Access website from browsing history.
Downloads
View information downloaded from
websites.
Settings Make browser settings.
