7.5.1 Data logger
Use of the data logger requires a USB interface and the data cable 2550.03.027.
Set the USB port use to data logger. Then insert the USB stick into the data cable socket.
When a USB stick (USB 2.0 or lower) is inserted, the "LOG" flag is displayed along with a short beep
tone in the upper symbol bar after a brief installation period.
A folder named "LOG_3035" is automatically created on the USB stick. This folder contains the file
"LOG_INFO.DAT" with the system-specific configuration data. This data must be deleted or changed.
The log data is in each case recorded in a text file. The file name is formatted based on the
sequential number, the year, the month, and the day. Files can be up to 200KB in size. In this case,
a new file is generated automatically. The data logger stops running when the stick has less than
400KB of free memory.
The print format IT uni-directional must be configured to write data to the log file. There is a
factory-default print format for the data logger. Contact your Soehnle Industrial Solutions service
partner for a customized print format.
The fast configuration of the Print key for the data logger is assigned with the Info key and the
Print key. Use the Arrow keys to select the print format No. 11 Data Logger and save with the F6
key.
