With the scale unloaded, press the On/Off button.
During the test routine, the calibration counter and version status are displayed
briefly and then the display switches to zero.
The scale is ready for weighing.
Place the sample on the scale. The gross weight appears in the display.

7.1 Switch on

Press the zeroing button to correct small deviations from zero, e.g. due to
soiling of the scale.
Zeroing range verifiable and non-verifiable: -1 to +3% of the weighing range.
7.3 Taring
Manual tare
Place the extra weight on the weighing platform and then press the tare button.
Manual tare input
With the manual tare input you can enter a fixed tare value manually. To do this,
however, this function must be assigned to the function button (see Chapter
8.1).
Press the function button.
Set the desired tare weight with the tare or function button. Press briefly to
cycle the value up/down one at a time. With permanent pressure, the display
runs up or down faster.
The set value can be finally accepted by pressing the SEND button.
Tare info
Pressing the INFO button and then the Tare button displays the currently stored
tare value.
Press the Clear button to exit this display.
Clear tare
Press the zeroing button when the scale is empty and not in the counting and
picking mode or press the Clear button.
