PARKING
Always check the compactness and resistance of the ground on which the wheels are
rested. With the machine at a standstill, activate the parking brake switch before
leaving the driver’s seat. The relative indicator will light up on the display.
Never leave the machine parked with a raised load under any circumstances.
Park on flat ground if possible, but if the surface does not appear safe or is slightly
sloping, place wedges in front of the wheels.
Place the gear into neutral “N”.
If the gradient exceeds 15%, it is mandatory to block the wheels with
wedges; in fact, in these conditions the parking brake may not
guarantee sufficient braking torque.
Return and lower the telescopic boom to place the accessory in use on
the ground.
Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
If leaving the machine permanently, never leave the ignition key
inserted.
To temporarily leave the driver’s seat, move the control lever to the neutral position “N” and activate the
parking brake switch, whether the engine is switched on or off.
Never park in places that can obstruct road circulation or can be generally dangerous.
N.B.: activation of the parking brake switch will always automatically engage the
neutral gear “N” even if it wasn’t previously selected with the control lever or
joystick. To place the machine back into gear after engaging the parking brake, the
control must be positioned back in the “N” neutral position before re-inserting the
gear.
