MANEUVERING ON UNEVEN GROUND
When maneuvering on uneven ground, it is important to remember that
contact between the wheels and the surface is conditioned by the depth of
any holes or obstacles found along the path. Contact of all wheels is
guaranteed if the unevenness (A) is +/- 15cm, beyond this value the lowest
wheel will be raised off the ground.
2.7
MANEUVERING ON TERRAIN WITH A TRANSVERSAL
SLOPE
Before operating on ground with a transversal gradient use the outriggers or levelling device (if present) to
level the machine.
It is strictly forbidden to lift and/or handle loads on sloped terrain without first having levelled the machine.
Lifting loads without the machine being properly levelled is very dangerous
and exposes the operator to the risk of rolling over. Movements on a
transversal slope can be made but only on a slope less than or equal to 10%,
with the boom completely retracted and completely lowered.
