Outside Antenna Installation

Connect Coax Cable and Antenna to Booster

Inside Antenna Installation

Connect Power Supply

Stealth Z1 Series

Quick Install Guide

Stealth Z160 shown

The system includes inside antenna, outside antenna, all connection cables and the booster unit
with power supply. The Booster’s outside antenna receives cellular signal from the tower and
sends it to the booster unit which then amplifies this signal and sends it into the building via the
inside antenna. The Booster’s inside antenna receives cellular signal from the phone or cellular
device and sends it to the booster unit which then amplifies the signal and sends it back to the
cellular tower via the outside antenna.

LED Lights Status Explanation

Outside RX Indicator

 (Orange LED)

Gain Level

(Green LED)

Orange LED Lights (RX):

There two orange LED lights, one for the 800MHz cellular band and one for the 1900MHz

PCS band. LED ON indicates that the RX (Receive Signal) function of the band is

functioning normally.
LED Off state indicates that the band is shut down.

Green LED Lights (TX):

There are two Green LED lights, one for the 800MHz cellular band and one for the 1900MHz

PCS band.

Solid ON indicates that the TX (Transmit Signal) function of the indicated band is on and is at

maximum gain.
Flashing Green LED in either 800MHz or 1900MHz  indicates gain reduction in that band

Cause of Flashing Green LED Lights:

If the outside antenna is located too close to the inside antenna the booster will reduce gain

in order to suppress any oscillation (feedback loop) and the Green LED will flash. To achieve

higher gain or max gain, further separation of the inside and outside antennas is required.

A vertical distance of at least 20 feet or a horizontal distance of at least 48 Feet between

the Outside Antenna to the Inside Antenna should be maintained.
