Charging the Battery
First time usage
Charge the built-in rechargeable battery at least
1 hour
before using the Smartparts Digital Picture Viewer the
first time.
The built-in battery may discharge completely after long
period without use. Recharge the battery before use.
When the battery is in need of charge, the LCD screen
will power off. Use the included USB cable to charge the
battery. Connect the USB cable to the Smartparts Digital
Picture Viewer, then to your PC. Select “
USB Power
”
option and press the
Menu
button to start charging.
An animation of the battery indicator will display on the
LCD screen. The battery indicator will disapear after
battery is fully charged.
Warning:
Any strong magnetic field may cause your
device to crash while in use. Simply remove the device
away from the magnetic field. Press & hold the MENU
button for 5 seconds to reset the device to factory default.
This will restore your device to default factory settings.

Package Contents
Product Layout
1. Connect Smartparts Digital Picture Viewer to your PC
using the included USB cable.
2. Once the Digital Picture Viewer is connected, select
“USB Power” or “USB Update” mode from the
digital picture viewer using the Next or Previous
buttons and press Menu to confirm your selection.
Select “USB Power” mode to charge the built-in
rechargeable battery.
The Smartparts Desktop Tool will launch auto-
matically when “USB Update” mode is selected.
3. If the software does not launch automatically, open
“My Computer”, double click the Smartparts
SP15PC icon.
4. With the software open, the images currently stored
on your Digital Picture Viewer will appear in the
Smartparts Desktop Tool. If your digital picture
viewer is empty then no image will appear.
5. Click “Add Photo” to add a new image into the
Digital Picture Viewer and then locate the image from
your computer. NOTE: images must be .jpg, or
.bmp formats.
6. Select the images you would like to add to the Digital
Picture Viewer and click “Import” button.

7. After selecting all the images you want to add to
the Digital Picture Viewer, click “Transfer to Device”
button to finish saving. Click “Exit” when the saving
is finished.
8. Unplug the USB cable and you are ready to share
your photos with family or friends.
Add Photo:
to add a new image into the unit.
Move Up:
to move the selected image up.
Move Down:
to move the selected image down.
Delete Photo:
to delete the highlighted image.
Clear All:
to clear the entire image list.
Zoom In & Zoom Out:
to change the size of the
selected image as it appears on the display.
Import:
to save any edits made to selected image
Transfer to Device:
to save new images or
changes to the unit.
Exit:
press to exit the ImageViewer software.

How to operate the Digital Photo Frame
Power On/Off
Press and hold the
Power On/Off
button for 2 seconds.
If there are any images saved on the Digital Picture Viewer
they will be displayed on the LCD screen when
powered on.
View Images
Press the
Previous
or
Next
button to view a different
image.
Settings
When the
Menu
button is pressed, the screen will
display a settings menu. Use the
Previous
or
Next
,
and
Menu
buttons to change the settings. The
Menu
button also acts as the ENTER button. The following
commands are available.
Slideshow (On/Off)
To turn On/Off the slideshow setting.
Contrast
To adjust the contrast level on the display screen.
Delete Image
To delete a image.
