4. Optionally, type a TTL value for IP multicasting in the
Multicast TTL
box.
By default, SMART Sync multicast packets are sent with a TTL value of 1, which
prevents them from being forwarded beyond a single subnetwork. Multicast
datagrams with a TTL of greater than 1 can deliver to more than one subnetwork (if
there are one or more multicast routers attached to the first-hop subnetwork).
