Note:
For optimal battery life, terminals with non-rechargeable batteries installed
should not be stored above 40°C for extended periods.

3.2.1 External Voltage Input

The hardware is designed to operate from 9 V to 32 V. However, the terminal can be
configured to enter Power Off below a specific voltage. For example, if an IDP-800 is
powered from a vehicular 12 V lead acid battery, the Power Off voltage threshold could
be set to 10.8 V to ensure the lead acid battery is not discharged when below its minimum
operating voltage. Refer to [T202] for commands on how to set this value.
