14 SKY GNOME
CHANGING CHANNELS
You can change channels directly from Sky Gnome. When you change
channels, your Sky/Sky+ box tunes to the new channel, displaying
the Search & Scan banner on the TV as it does when you use your
Sky remote control. In the meantime, Sky Gnome plays the audio and
displays the channel information.
Change channels with the c/- key, as follows:

Press
c/-
to listen to the next channel.

Wait for your Sky/Sky+ box to tune to the channel.

Change channels with the number keys, as follows:

If you need to, look up the channel number in Sky Guide’s TV Guide
listings. See your Sky/Sky+ box user guide for details.

Enter the number of the TV channel you want; 5-0-1 for Sky News,
for example.
If you enter a wrong number, press the
power
(back up) key briefly
to go back one digit.

Wait for your Sky/Sky+ box to tune to the channel.
