5.1 Cleaning
Remove the recirculation fan before cleaning.Open the DA 60-820 unit to 100%.
The net on the recirculation fan must be cleaned regularly as dust and dirt will other-
wise clog the net completely.
Fan
Clean the fan at regular intervals to allow unobstructed air passage.
1. Set the computer to the in-between function
Wash
, (when using a SKOV computer)
2. Clean the ventilation duct.
Remember that fans do not stand high-pressure cleaning.
3. It is recommended that the fan run at 100% for at least one hour after cleaning, in order to dry off any mois-
ture in the fan. If the fan has a tailstock screw in the drain hole it can be removed in this hour.
Motor controller
To ensure sufficient cooling, keep the cooling ribs on the controller dust-free, e.g. by means of compressed air.
Clean the product with a cloth that has been wrung out almost dry in water and avoid using:
• high-pressure cleaner
• solvents
• corrosive/caustic agents
5.2 Recycling/Disposal
Products suitable for recycling are marked with a pictogram.
It must be possible for customers to deliver the products to local collection sites/recycling stations in accordance
with local instructions. The recycling station will then arrange for further transport to a certified plant for reuse,
recovery and recycling.
