Electronic Controller
The electronic controller is located within a metal enclosure and is attached
to the control panel above the cabinet doors. Twin unit cabinets are fitted
with a second controller which is attached to the condenser assembly on
one of the refrigeration units. Follow the steps below to access the electronic
controller.

Diagnostics
If the SKOPE electronic controller has a suspected fault, care must be taken
to ensure accurate diagnosis. The controller has various programmable
parameters that effect operation such as time delay and defrost modes. Any
suspected failure must be double checked. Confirm all wiring and
terminations are correct. Check that the probe resistance is correct and
replace any faulty components. If operation appears erratic, check program
and if necessary perform a ‘Controller Reset’ (see page 16).

Wiring
Refer to the diagram below for controller wiring information.
Ambient Probe
Alarms
The ambient probe measures the temperature around the refrigeration unit
and activates the high ambient (
HO
) alarm if the temperature exceeds 40°C
(freezers) or 32°C (ice storage cabinets). Instances of high ambient alarm
activation are recorded and can be reviewed by accessing the parameters
and reviewing the AHO parameters (see page 20).
1. Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply.
2. Detatch the controller from either the control panel or the condenser
assembly.
3. Undo the two screws from the controller enclosure tabs.
4. Pull the controller through the front of the enclosure to access the terminals.
Detatch all terminals to remove the controller.
