See Figure 52
To depressurize the reservoir, first discon-
nect the system from the compressed air
supply.
IMPORTANT NO
TE
Only lubricants provided by SKF
may be used.
SKF will not accept claims for damages
resulting from the use of lubricants other
than those approved in writing by SKF.
For initial use of the system, the reservoir
should be filled before the system is con-
nected to the compressed air supply
CAUTION
System pressure
The aerosol generator must be
depressurized before filling.
See Figure 52
9.1 Initial illing
9.1.1 Depressurizing the aerosol gen-
erator
CAUTION
Wear safety goggles and a facial
mask!
Aerosol may escape during subse-
quent actuation of the safety valve.
When the system is already connected to
the compressed air supply, you must ensure
that the reservoir is depressurized before it
is filled.
This can be done by either:
• Disconnecting the compressed air line
from the system and pushing the cou-
pling (
1
) downwards
or:
• Moving the slider (
2
) on the main com-
pressed air valve downwards
• Open the aerosol outlets to ensure free
release of the reservoir pressure.
Wait until the pressure has been re-
leased via the aerosol outlets.
Actuate the safety valve to check pres-
sure relief.
• Briefly actuate the safety valve (
3
) using
the key ring.
