Backup copies

Directories to be backed up
Preparation
In principle all backup copies can be saved to a single storage medium
(provided the data volume does not exceed its storage capacity).
Backup frequency
Backup frequency depends on the data volume, i.e. the number of images
produced in the system. Please note that lost data can be restored only until
the moment when the last backup was performed.
7.2.3
Database restoration
As a rule, data on a database server cannot be backed up on a file basis.
Therefore, it is recommended to backup a database into the image data folder
\PDATA within a separately created folder\DBBackup.
● By doing this, during backup of the image data folder the database will be
backed up as well.
Prerequisite
In order to restore the backed up database, the backed up image data folder
must be restored first.
See Section "File-based backup [
7.2.3.1
Example: SQL Server 2005
Prerequisite
Restoration has to be carried out on the computer where the SQLServer
resides.
In addition to the database "PDATA_SQLEXPRESS" the database "Master"
must be restored.
● The database "Master" contains user and password information.
