Option 1: Aux Audio Cable Installation Instructions
1.
Plug one end of the Aux Audio Cable into the
AUDIO
connector of the Intelligent Power
Adapter and the other end into the auxiliary input (Aux or Audio) jack in the vehicle .
2.
Turn on your vehicle’s radio/headunit and set it to play from the auxiliary input
source .
3.
Press
Menu
on Roady BT, and then press to highlight Audio Settings and press
Select
.
4.
Audio Output
will be highlighted . Press the
Select
button
until
AUX
is shown as
the selected audio output .
5.
Wait a moment while the Aux audio is enabled and then you should
hear the SiriusXM audio playing through the radio/headunit .
6.
Be sure the vehicle is outside and the antenna has a clear view of the
sky . Verify that you are receiving the SiriusXM signal . There should be
at least two bars on the upper left corner of the Now Playing screen
that denotes antenna signal strength . You can also press
Menu
and
then press
down
to scroll to and highlight
Signal Indicator
. Press
the
Select button
. The Satellite and Terrestrial bars show the
strength of the signal being received . If the signal reception is good,
press and hold
Menu
to return to the main display screen .
7.
Ensure Roady BT is tuned to channel 1, the SiriusXM Preview channel .
Upon power up, Roady BT should tune to channel 1 by default, when
it’s not yet activated . If it’s not on channel 1, refer to “Tuning to a
Channel” on page 32 to learn about how to tune a channel .

The audio installation is complete . Continue to “Activation” on page 29 .
The audio level output of Roady BT can be increased or decreased as necessary to match the
audio levels of other sources in your vehicle . Refer to “Audio Level” on page 50 .
If the signal reception is good, showing at least two bars in the lower left corner of the display,
but there is no SiriusXM audio, be sure the vehicle’s radio/headunit is set to the auxiliary input
source (step 8) . Also be sure that the audio level is set high enough to be heard (step 8) . Refer to
“Troubleshooting” on page 58 for additional help .
