Heading read-out
When enabled, the vessel's current heading is shown on the top bar.
Description
If a heading sensor (gyro compass) is connected to the TV80 Processor Unit,
the top bar may show you the vessel's current heading.
Note
The information shown on the TV80 top bar must not be used for vessel navigation!
Speed read-out
The vessel’s current speed is shown on the top bar.
Description
If a speed sensor is connected to the TV80 Processor Unit, the top bar may
show you the vessel's current heading.
Tip
By default, the vessel speed is shown in knots. You can change the measurement unit in the
Units
dialog box. The
Units
dialog box is located on the
Display
menu.
Temperature read-out
The navigational information on the top bar includes a read-out of the current water
temperature.
Description
If a suitable sensor is connected to the TV80 Processor Unit, the top bar may show you the
current temperature. The function is offered to allow you to monitor the water temperature,
but it will display any temperature reading that is made by the sensor.
User interface
