To activate NAVTEX Inbox, right click on the icon or on the node of the area. The Inbox
appears, the message is highlighted.

Access to Navtex message

In ECDIS double click on the message listed in the window to display the full text message in
the application MARIS Navtex inbox. Alternatively select the message and push “Show
message” button.

From the chart right click on the icon and activate the menu.

Message status

A message is either read either unread. Closed envelop icon displayed in front of the
message and bold characters shows unread messages.

The icon Navtex in ECDIS900 is either opened either closed .

Closed icon means that unread Navtex messages exist on the screen. Opened icon means
that all messages from the area have been read.
