Each entry in the logbook is defined by the following attributes:

Time
•
Position (Latitude and Longitude)
•
Event type
•
Comment
•
Other parameters depending on the event type.
•
COG (Course over ground)
•
SOG (Speed over ground)
•
HDG (Heading)
•
STW (Speed through water)
•
Range
•
Bearing
The entries are not editable, however you can sort the list by Time or Event type clicking on
the relative column headings.

Note:
The comment field contains information about the event. Together with the
position of the ship the chart in use and the position offset is available. To display the full
text, move the cursor onto the comment field and a small window will display the
information.
Voyage record
To display the voyage record, press the button
Load
and select the file called using the
following data format:
MM_DD_YYYYV4.lgf
.
New log entry
In case of a special event, the operator can record the event in the logbook manually.
1.
To enter a new record in the logbook press the New Logbook record button
2.
Enter details via the keyboard and click OK.
3.
The new entry is added to the Logbook with time and location stamps.
