The burner will pre-heat the fuel and perform the pre-ventila-
tion cycle; it will then ignite the flame and operate at its adjust-
ed power until the temperature set on the room thermostat is
reached.
The thermometer will show the temperature value of the water
in the appliance, measured at that time.
1.4 Adjusting the heating temperature
If the heating temperature must be increased or decreased,
turn the knob (4) until the desired value is reached. The temper-
ature can be set to between 45°C and 85°C.

To ensure constantly optimal performance of the gen-
erator, we suggest
NOT to adjust the heating thermostat
to below the 60°C working temperature

1.5 Adjusting the hot water temperature

move the flow regulator (1) of the water pressure switch to in-
crease or decrease the water flow and thus the temperature.
– turning the knob clockwise decreases the domestic water
withdrawal capacity and consequently increases the relative
temperature
– turning the knob anti-clockwise increases the domestic water
withdrawal capacity and consequently decreases the relative
temperature supplied.

1.6 Possible faults
1.6.1 Safety thermostat
The manual-reset safety thermostat intervenes by triggering
the immediate lock-out of the burner, when the temperature
exceeds 100°C. The intervention of the safety thermostat is not
signalled but can be detected by the thermostat of the thermal
unit (T>100° C). To reactivate the appliance, wait until the tem-
perature indicated by the thermostat falls to roughly 75° C then
unscrew the protective cap and press the underlying shaft. Wait
for the completion of the fuel pre-heating and start-up phases
until the flame appears.

WARNING
If the reactivation fails, DO NOT REPEAT it and wait for
qualified technical personnel to intervene.
1.6.2 Burner lock-out
Should any faults occur during its ignition or operation, the
thermal unit will perform a lock-out and the red signalling in-
dicator (7) of the control panel will light up. To reset the burner
ignition conditions, press the burner unlock button (PSB) until
the flame appears. This operation can be repeated 2–3 times at
the most and, should it fail, wait for qualified technical person-
nel to intervene.

WARNING
Check that there is enough fuel in the tank and that the
shut-off valves are open. Once the tank has been filled, it
is advisable to interrupt the thermal unit’s operation for
roughly one hour.
