Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary . The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (b) and numbers (a) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics
20–22: Paper and cardboard
80–98: Composites

that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of
a warranty claim .
Handling and use
This section provides important information about proper handling and operation
of the appliance .
Assembling the appliance

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section "Cleaning and care" .

Set up the appliance in accordance with the safety instructions .

Ensure that the mains cable plug is disconnected before assembling the
appliance .

Pull the mains cable out of the cable compartment .
♦
Place the motor unit on a dry, stable and level surface .
♦
Place the juice container on the motor unit so that the juice outlet
is pointing forwards .
♦
Put the pressing cone with sieve onto the drive shaft .
♦
Insert the plug into a mains power socket .
The appliance is now ready for use .
