Cleaning

Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the power
socket . Otherwise, there is a risk of electrocution .

socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely . Otherwise, there
is risk of burns!

Clean the steam head

only with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water .
Descaling
NOTE

The appliance is designed for use with standard tap water . Clean the
steam compartment regularly to remove limescale . If your water is very
hard, mix 50% tap water with 50% standard distilled water .
The appliance must be descaled regularly to maintain optimal function . How
often you need to descale the appliance depends on your water quality and
frequency of use .
We recommend that you descale the appliance either once a year or after
50 hours of total use . We recommend descaling immediately, however, if you
notice that the appliance is generating less steam . How to descale the appliance:
1) Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down .
2) Remove the mains plug from the power socket and detach the steam hose

from the appliance base

by turning the steam hose connector

wise until you can take the steam hose

off .
3) Undo the fixing screw of the telescopic shaft

and detach the telescopic
shaft

from the appliance base

.
4) Fill the water tank

with water and reattach it to the appliance base
z
. This
fills the steam kettle inside with a certain amount of water .
5) Pull the water tank
t
off the appliance base
z
and pour the water from the
steam kettle into a sink through the connecting piece of the open steam hose
connector

. This removes limescale and other residue .
6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the appliance is completely free from limescale .
