being moved.
... the iron lies on its side for longer than 30 seconds without being moved.

... the iron stands on the appliance base

for longer than 8 minutes without
being moved.
6 signal tones sound prior to the automatic switch-off . During the period when the
safety switch-off is active, the control lamp "Power"

blinks. The iron is re-activated
once it has been moved.
NOTICE
Do not use the safety switch-off intentionally to take the iron out of service!
