Before first use
NOTE
►
When you use the appliance for the first time, it might emit some smoke, a
harmless odour and a small amount of particles. This does not affect the
function of the appliance and does not last long.
1) Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2) Remove all stickers and protective films from the appliance and accessories.
Assembly
1) Hold the telescopic shaft

so that the power cable retainer

is on the
left side. Check if the three locking clips

on the telescopic shaft
q
are
unlocked (fig. A).
2) Guide the telescopic shaft
q
through the corresponding opening on the
upper side of the appliance base
z
. Then push the telescopic shaft
q
into
the appliance base
z
as far as it will go (see fig. B).
3) Screw the screw cap for the telescopic shaft
e
clockwise onto the telescopic
shaft
q
so that it is firmly affixed to the appliance base
z
(fig. C).
