Place the blender on an even and stable surface only. If the blender is not placed on an
even surface, it could tip over, possibly causing damage to property and injury.
Make sure the power cable (6) is not in your working area. Otherwise, you could
accidentally pull on it and tip it over or make the blender fall off the work surface.
1.
Fully unwind the power cable (6) and feed it through the notch on the bottom of the motor unit (7).

Place the motor unit (7) on an even, non-slip and dry surface. Do not connect the power cable (6)
plug to the mains socket yet!
8. Usage
8.1 Filling the blender jug

Remove the lid (2) and measuring cap (1) from the blender jug (4). To do this, twist the lid (2) gently
counterclockwise until the locks on the edge of the lid (2) are revealed and lift it upwards off the
blender jug (4).

Add the desired ingredients to the blender jug (4).

Place the lid (2) back on the blender jug (4). To do this, first twist the lid (2) gently counterclockwise
so that the locks on the edge of the lid (2) fit into the gaps on the blender jug (4).

Press the lid (2) onto the blender jug (4) and twist the lid (2) gently clockwise until it slots into place.
Make sure that the safety catch (3) also sits in the recess on the top of the handle of the blender jug
(4).
5.
Place the measuring cap (1) in the opening of the lid (2) and lock the measuring cap (1) into
position. To do this, turn it in a clockwise direction.
8.2 Attaching the blender jug to the motor unit
Warning!
If the rotary switch (5) is set at one of the various power levels, the blender will power on as
soon as you place the blender jug (4) on the motor unit (7) and close the lid (2).

If the mains plug is connected to the mains socket, remove it from the mains socket.
2.
Check that the blender's rotary switch (5) is in the OFF position.
3.
Place the blender jug (4) on the motor unit (7) and lock it into position. To do this, first twist the
blender jug (4) such that the handle of the blender jug (4) is on the right hand side. Find the
arrow
printed on the bottom of the blender jug (4). Align this arrow with the open padlock
symbol
. Now lower the blender jug (4) onto the motor unit (7) and twist it clockwise until the
arrow
is aligned with the locked padlock .
4.
Connect the power cable (6) plug to a live mains socket.
