authorised by the supplier of the machine. The user of the machine is the only responsible for its good and safe operation, i f
the machine was not repaired or maintained by the specialized or authorised personnel. Before carrying out all these
operations, ensure the current supply is cut off. All the operators using the machine shall be trained on its correct use, the
protection devices and the tools - accessories supplied with the machine.
The machine is delivered with the protection devices already installed and fixed. Check and maintain these protection devices
and the machine according to the maintenance schedule. The operator shall be cautious in using the machine when the drum
and the bucket are moving and when approaching with his hands, and particularly:

CHARACTERISTICS

Description of the machine
The reversing drum mixers of series PO 500 are designed,
manufactured, tested and sold by the company Silla. These machines are designed for preparing and
mixing concrete: sand, pebble gravel, cement and water for use on construction sites only. The main
feature of these machines is their simple and rapid setting at work and safe use.
The machine is equipped with the following electric installation: electric plug, control panel with START and STOP commands,
electric connections, electric motor. In the diesel version the mixer is provided with: Diesel Engine, hydraulic pump, hydraulic
distributor, rack piston tilting the drum.
The power is transmitted from the motor to the drum by means of driving belts and reduction with pulley. The bucket moves
upwards and downwards by means of hydraulic commands. Tilting of drum is operated by a hydraulic distributor.
There are also some manual operations to be done by the operator. He must load the bucket with sand, pebble gravel, or
cement in the desired quantity, raise the bucket and unload the materials into the drum, positioned in loading position.
Successively, pour in the water from the water tank placed on the top of the frame and move the skip to the ground. Unload
the mixed concrete in a crane bucket or similar and tilting the drum with the hydraulic distributor.
The mixers are made of:
machine frame with retractable legs
water tank
axle with wheels and drawbar for displacements on construction site
hydraulic unit
Tilting drum with hydraulic distributor
control panel
bucket for introduction of aggregate
protection nets for accident prevention
