Do not use the device if you:

have naturally dark skin (refer to the skin colour chart at the
front of this manual). Treating dark skin can result in adverse
effects such as burns, blisters, and skin colour changes
(hyper- or hypopigmentation).
U
have naturally white, grey, light blond, or red body hair.
U
are pregnant or nursing.
U
have a history of keloidal scar formation.
U
have suffered or suffer from epilepsy.
U
have a disease related to photosensitivity, such as porphyria,
polymorphic light eruption, solar urticaria, lupus, etc.
U
have a history of skin cancer, a current condition of any
cancer, or areas of potential skin malignancies.
U
have received drugs from your physician for a skin condition
within the past 6 months.
U
are allergic to metal, or are sensitive to contact with chrome.
U
have any other condition which in your physician’s opinion
would make it unsafe for you to use the device.
U
cannot sense heat properly because of an illness, or other
health related issue.

Do not use on these parts of the body:
U
on tanned skin.
U
around or near the eyes. Use below the cheekbones.
U
on tattoos or permanent makeup, dark brown or black
spots, (such as large freckles, moles, or warts), nipples,
genitals, around the anus, or lips.
U
areas with injected fillers or toxins.
