Serial Number:
displays the machine’s serial number that should correspond to the serial No that is stamped on the back of the
machine (if absent, enter the 13 numbers in the serial number, using the arrow keys. Press ENTER to confirm
the number).

type of UC199.
Keys cut:
number of keys cut. (To reset the value, hold down the SHIFT+CLEAR+START keys for approx. 2 seconds).
SW version:
Software version of the program installed on the machine.
2 – CUTTER MATERIAL:
Cutter material = 1
(0 = HSS)
(1 = Hard metal)

This option is used to view/set the type of cutters to be used, in HSS (enter 0) or hard metal (enter 1).
The UC199 key-cutting machine uses hard metal cutters.
To set a different cutter material invert the pulleys (*):

low speed for HSS tools
-
high speed for hard metal carbide tools
