6.1
Safety pointers for the electrical connection
DANGER!
The improper electrical connection of the components can be potentially fatal. The
components can also be damaged.
Note the following basic principles for the electronic connection:
Local regulations must be observed at all times.
Because the system has no main switch, a suitable disconnection device (switch, plug)
should be installed near the service voltage. It must be designated and easily accessible.
The power supply must have a back-up fuse with a max. tripping current of 16 A. The
cables must be able to withstand this load.
The mains cable must be able to withstand an ambient temperature of 70 °C.
It is imperative that the protective conductor is connected.
The system must not be charged with voltage until the installation is completed and all
covers are mounted.
If faults cannot be remedied, the system must be put out of operation and protected
against inadvertent operation.
