Check flow rate and cleanliness

PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the optics unit of the
photometer and fasten onto the
docking station.

Check flow rate of the sample
according to the technical data
Section 2.4.
If the flow rate is incorrect, please refer to Sec-
tion 8.5.
3.
Check the water jet.
Normal jet without bubbles, on-
ly reflections (e.g. of the shutter)
are visible in the water jet.
Small air bubbles are dif-
ficult or impossible to see and
may occur in the normal jet!
Disrupted water jet after
water stop
This can occur if
air is drawn into the
hose at the AquaScat 2
input after a water stop
followed by the instru-
ment being operated
again.
Too little water
Too much water
With big air bubbles
