6.5 LOADING THE STAPLER
Be sure that the tool is not pointing at
yourself or anyone else when connec-
ting it to the compressed air line.
– Connect the tool to the compressed air line before
loading staples. The max. allowed air pressure is 8
bar.
–
Always use Josef Kihlberg original staples
JK557 with leg length 15 (5/8“ ) or 18 mm (3/4“).
The correct type of staple is marked on the left
hand side of the magazine. Ensure you use the
right length of staples for your application and be
sure that the stapler is adjusted for this length.
1. Press the magazine lid backwards and release
the latch. Lift the lid at the same time upwards and
then backwards(Fig.8/1)
2. Feed the staple strip right up to the side guides.

3. Close the lid with a slight push and press it down-
wards until the lid has reached locking position
6.6 OPERATING THE STAPLER
Adjust the air pressure to 5,0–6,0 bar (73-87 psi).
Never exceed 8 bar (116 psi).
A low air pressure will give low maintenance costs!
– Press the stapler against the card board.
– Pull the trigger as described in chapter 4.2.

Move the tool and repeate until you have finished
the stapling.
– Control the clinch regulary, see chapter 6.4.
Warning: before stapling, ensure that
your hand or any other part of your
body is not underneath the nozzle.
Always place yourself in a firmly ba

ling the tool.
