4.1
Storage conditions
The expected service life of 10 years can only be reached if all of the
specified storage conditions are fulfilled.
• If possible, store the centrifuge in its original packaging.
• Store the centrifuge only in dry rooms.
• The permissible storage temperature is between -20°C and +60°C.
Storage
• In case of a storage period of more than one year, the specified
maintenance intervals must be observed. Any necessary work must be
performed directly before using the device.
• Specific dates of expiry of the accessories, e.g. the limited usability of
plastic rotors, must be complied with. These components must be
replaced without exception.

Transport
The centrifuge must be transported by authorised specialised personnel. All
the information concerning the transport is documented in a separate
transport and installation manual.
NOTE
• Comply with the information given in the separate transport and
installation manual of the centrifuge!
• Ensure that any tasks concerning this field are only performed by
authorised specialised personnel!
