Disassembly Procedures

This chapter describes how to remove major parts from the SDS5000X

series oscilloscope.

6.1

Safety Consideration and Cautions

Only qualified personnel should perform the disassembly procedures.

Disconnect the power before you begin to remove or replace the parts.

Otherwise, potential personal injuries or damages to the components

may occur.

WARNING

HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES

Maintenance is performed with power supply on and

without protective covers. Only qualified personnel with

proper tools and protection should perform the

maintenance. Perform the maintenance with the power

cord disconnected wheneverpossible.

WARNING

AVOIDELECTRICALSHOCK

Hazardous voltages exist on the power supply module

and LCD module. To avoid electrical shock, disconnect
