Using the USB Extension Cable and Laptop Clip
Optionally, you can use the provided USB extension cable and laptop clip. The laptop clip
fits on top of your laptop screen and holds your USB modem. This allows you to use your
USB modem in crowded spaces.
1.
Remove the protective cap from the USB modem by placing your fingers on the sides
of the cap and carefully pulling it off.
2.
Slide the USB modem into the laptop clip.
3.
Connect the extension cable to the USB modem.
4.
Insert the other end of the extension cable into the USB slot of your laptop. When the
USB modem and the cable are properly connected, the
LED indicator is lit (blue,
or blinking amber); the ****** logos on the front of the USB modem are also lit.
