powered
as
soon
as
you
insert
it.
Removing the Compass USB modem
To
remove
the
Compass
USB
modem:
1.
Watcher
if
it
is
open.
2.
Click
the
PC Card
icon
in
the
to
display
the
option
to
stop
the
device.
3.
Click
the
entry
for
“
NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller
”
or
“
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
“.
4.
If
a
dialog
box
appears
notifying
you
that
it
is
safe
to
remove
the
device,
click
OK
.
5.
Pull
the
modem
out
of
the
slot
by
gripping
both
sides
of
the
modem
and
pulling
the
modem
straight
out.
