6.2.1.1
Node representation
Each node in the
Tree View is identified by an icon and a text. The text related to
each node may be
description or technical text, or both according to your selection.
By default the
Tree View shows the node descriptions.
When you select a node in the
Tree View, the following occurs:
The
Data View shows the properties of the child nodes of the selected node (if
present).
Both the Menu and the Standard Toolbar contents change to offer the proper
node commands available for the selected node.
You can expand or collapse subtrees to display only the nodes you want to see.
6.2.1.2
Tabs in the Tree View
The
Tree View is organised in tabs. The Main tab is always present and contains
all the data of the project. You cannot rename or delete it. You can add additional
tabs to display only parts of the project tree. There are two different types of views:
Zoom view: Displays only a sub-tree of the project, starting from a selected
node, and containing all children and other information for that node.
Filter view: Displays filtering criteria defined by you.
For details on filtering and zooming, see section Filtering & zooming [➙ 79].
