Installation 

The minimum requirements for a PC to install Composer are:  

  Core 2 Duo or Athlon 1.87 GHz PC hardware 

  Windows 8.1 / Windows 7 SP1 / Windows XP Professional SP3 /  

Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2008 R2 SP2 

  At least 2 GB RAM

Installing Composer 

The following describes how to install Composer. 
If you choose to install MM8000/MK8000/NK8000/MT8001, Composer will be 

installed as well. Please use this guide in tandem with the product-specific

 

Installation, Configuration and Commissioning Guide (ICC) for detailed instructions.

Proceed as follows: 

  You have Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) installed [➙ 23] if you 

plan to install the MM8000 Stand-alone Web Site type, or if you will need to 

monitor an NK8000 network remotely via Web services. 

1.  Log on as Administrator (for details ask your network administrator). 
2.  Insert the DMS8000 product Installation disk. 

  The welcome window appears.  

Note: If the 

Autorun option is disabled on your PC, you need to execute the 

Autorun.exe file manually in the DVD main folder.
