16.3 Cleaning the auxiliary li-
quid detergent dis-
penser compartment
If there is liquid detergent residue in
the auxiliary compartment:
1.
Pull out the dispenser drawer and
remove the auxiliary compartment
by grasping the front end and
pulling upwards.
2.
Remove the siphon cap by pulling
it upwards, then clean the auxiliary
compartment and siphon cap by
rinsing with tap water or using a
brush.
3.
Reinsert the siphon cap into the
auxiliary compartment (making
sure to align the installation marks)
and push down firmly until it clicks
into place.
4.
Place the auxiliary compartment
back into the detergent drawer.
Note:
Clean the auxiliary liquid deter-
gent dispenser compartment regu-
larly to avoid residue and blockages.
16.4 Cleaning the drain pump
Clean the drain pump in the event of
faults, e.g. blockages or rattling
noises.
Emptying the drain pump
1.
Turn off the water tap.
2.
Switch off the appliance.
3.
Disconnect the appliance's mains
plug from the power supply.
